Student Council is made up of about 50 students representing grades 9 - 12. We are responsible for pep rallies, welcome back posters, homecoming themes and shirts, and so much more
Student Council gives my students a sense of purpose within the school community that they otherwise may not have.
These students are able to create posters, lead pep rallies that encourage all students throughout the school. I am simply a facilitator and our program is lead by students and driven by student participation.
School spirit and morale are something that our school struggles with so Student Council is vital. We are met with many challenges, yet my students always seem to overcome each of them. And they do it with General Pride.
My Project
These supplies are a necessity for Student Council. The paint, rolls of craft paper, and duct tape allow us to do so much for our school. My students make do with whatever supplies they have and they never seem to complain about what we don't have. Student Council deserves the right tools to do their jobs.
These supplies enable Student Council to decorate our school, boost morale, provide inspiration, and advertise upcoming school and community events.
Without hallway decorations, our building is plain and does not foster a sense of community, creativity, or positivity. Please help us change our world!
