My Project
Our library is the heart of our school and is a welcoming place for all of our students to come to. They come once a week for a class library lesson, anytime during the week to check out books individually and can choose to come into the library after lunch instead of going outside. Each week there are two new activities to explore in the "Creation Station" as well as old standbys like checkers, chess and puzzles that are always available.
Being able to add manipulatives like Magnatiles and Bee-Bots to our Creation Station line-up will increase their interest in both the engineering and technology as well as the art aspects of STEAM.
