My Project

I love how hard my students work and how excited they are when they realize, “I can do this!” My students come to small-group reading and math interventions ready to learn, and I want to give them opportunities to practice new skills in ways that are engaging, hands-on, and meaningful.

A whiteboard table will transform our intervention time by giving students a space to actively show what they know.

Students can write, solve, draw, explain their thinking, and learn from mistakes without the fear of getting something wrong. In reading, we can use the table for spelling, word work, phonics, and comprehension activities. In math, students can model strategies, solve problems, and explain their thinking.

This resource will help make small-group instruction more interactive and collaborative while giving every student an active role in their learning. Most importantly, it will give my students another way to see their own thinking, build confidence, and experience those exciting “I can do this!” moments.
