My Project

Reset Stations allow our students to have a designated space in every classroom to work on emotion regulation. These cushion seats will provide students a comfortable spot to utilize the tools located in their reset station to process any big feelings they may be dealing with. It is important for some students to have tangible and sensory related items to hold on to in order to manage their mental health.

The goal for this project is to provide each classroom a ready to go Reset Station filled with sensory tools and a comfortable seating option.

Having a relaxing and quiet area in each classroom will allow students a space to process their emotions and be able to work on self regulation strategies. Students who are able to self regulate are able to make friends and build social skills, learn and achieve at school, as well as, make good decisions and manage stress.
