My Project

The goal is to foster creativity, collaboration, and communication skills by expanding the maker space. With puppets, students will strengthen literacy, storytelling, social skills. With magnetic building tools and dominoes, they’ll develop problem-solving, teamwork, and STEM skills. Together, these items will help turn the media center into a space where stories and ideas come alive.

These enhancements to our maker space will help prepare students to be confident thinkers, makers, and storytellers.

Our students are special because they bring so many different strengths, talents, and ways of learning. Our school serves over 800 children, including many students learning English as a second language and students with disabilities, who bring incredible perspectives, talents, and ways of thinking that enrich our school community.

Each and every one of our students has something unique to share. Together, they create a vibrant community that makes our library media center a place where every child can belong, explore, and shine.
