My Project

Incorporating puppets in our classroom will play a key role in music and storytelling activities, sparking creativity and encouraging vocal expression.

We can use them to bring stories to life, sing songs, and participate in call-and-response games.

For instance, a puppet might “ask” a question in a song, prompting students to respond through singing. This fun interaction helps build confidence and supports language development. By focusing attention on the puppet instead of the student, puppets make singing feel less intimidating, reduce performance anxiety, and encourage greater participation.

My students are exceptional because of their individuality, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning through play. They excel when lessons are interactive, hands-on, and imaginative. Puppets will transform our classroom into a dynamic and engaging environment where every student feels empowered to express themselves and develop critical communication and social-emotional skills. My goal is to help students explore their voices in a positive and supportive space.
