My Project

Hello, Hola, xin chào, Hallå, سلام, Kamusta, Olá, ہیلو, 你好, 여보세요, and welcome to this request for fun supplies that benefit energetic and enthusiastic 2nd graders who represent many languages. These loving children attend a high-poverty inland school in a state that is number one in prison spending and number 41 in education spending.

Thank you for reading this proposal to put puppets in the hands of dynamic, high-spirited students who love to express themselves creatively.

Students enjoy puppets, plush animals, hand clappers, and nets for acting out poems and as props for musical games, such as "Weevily Wheat" during which students skip-count by 5's. These games develop beat competence, rhythm recognition, physical coordination, and music appreciation. Since we already have egg shakers, bells, and other handheld percussion, the buckets will come in handy for storage. Students would like a mahjong set after learning to play in celebration of the Lunar New Year while paper clips hold their math packs in place.
