This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Using a combination of materials and subjects my students will use these gelli plates to create a collage of images to express themselves. They will use the gelli plates as their means of creating one part of their subject, but also use it to create a textured BG.

The soft pastels will allow them to create something that original while using magazines and laser printout to create imagery with a lot more detail.

We will combine all these ideas to create a punk like expressive piece of art for them to enjoy. While introducing a new way of creating a monoprint.
