My Project

Pulp fiction? With your help, we can make this a pulp reality! Paper-making supplies are valuable for high-school students. They provide a messy, fun, hands-on experience and enrich their understanding of the paper-making process. Unlike store-bought paper, handmade paper provides a unique texture and aesthetic, encouraging students to experiment with different fibers and additives to create one-of-a-kind pieces. How cool would it be to create art on paper you made with your own hands?

Paper-making fosters interdisciplinary learning by combining elements of science, history, and art all rolled into a hands-on activity.

Additionally, engaging in the paper-making process allows students to explore sustainability and environmental awareness as they learn about recycling paper scraps and incorporating natural materials into their pieces.
