Many of them have used technology at home, but this is the first time they've had access to tools that let them create, collaborate, and take real ownership of their learning. With the new tech, we've been able to break down lessons in ways that feel clear, visual, and engaging—helping students who usually struggle with focus or organization finally find a rhythm that works for them. It's allowed them to explore, problem-solve, and make connections at a deeper level than traditional methods could ever reach.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is the sense of independence these tools give them. They love being able to navigate assignments confidently, move between tasks with ease, and see their work displayed in a professional, polished way. For many of them, it's the first time learning has felt both interactive and personal. You can see it on their faces—when the screen lights up, so do they.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful moments for me has been watching students who are usually quiet or hesitant become some of the strongest contributors in class. One student in particular has always been bright but reluctant to participate out loud. With the new technology, he started completing digital activities ahead of time, adding thoughtful responses, and even helping classmates understand features they'd never used before. It gave him a lane to lead—and he took it. That's the kind of growth your generosity makes possible.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students tools that elevate their confidence and expand their opportunities. Your support didn't just fund a project—it created a better learning environment for every student who walks into my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1692237454075,"projectUrl":"project/student-success/7681399/","projectTitle":"Student Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9186811_orig.png?crop=950,950,x0,y22&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764870095676","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9186811"},{"teacherId":5277057,"projectId":9813726,"letterContent":"Because of your generous donation we already have had more student be able to enjoy making and creating in the library makerspace! Because of your generosity, my students have been fully engaged in a creative, hands-on learning experience that has quickly become a highlight of our semester.\r\n\r\nSince the supplies arrived, students have created over 300 unique sheets of handmade paper. They've learned the process from start to finish—blending pulp, pulling screens, pressing water, and drying each sheet with care. Every student has discovered that something as ordinary as scrap paper can become a work of art.\r\n\r\nThis project has also sparked conversations about recycling, sustainability, and art's global history. My students—who come from wonderfully diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of interests—have found a shared joy in this process. They encourage one another, experiment fearlessly, and take immense pride in their creations.\r\n\r\nYour donation has provided more than materials; it has built confidence, curiosity, and community in our art room. In that time, 3D classes have made elaborate masks that utilized the glue for paper mache and the tape to help hold together the cardboard interior structure. The masks were on display in our glass display case in the South hallway. Next they created small Holiday themed dioramas where again the tape was used to hold the cardboard backdrop structure. Elmers glue can be watered down and applied to thin plastic to create frost fogged windows, or hold down stray hairs on a needle felted snowman.
