PSA Robotics

Help me give my students the tools needed to build our robots. The storage drawers and label maker will help us organize our supplies and have the proper tools to design and build our robots.

My Students

I work in an alternative education school. I teach 2nd year Algebra, Geometry and Robotics to high school students. They range in age from 13 to 18. The majority of our students have not had the opportunity to work with or learn through technology. Our Robotics program allows us to use and engage our students in new ways. Robotics allows us an avenue to help students develop and expand their problem solving and critical thinking skills. I also have the chance to introduce the students to new career paths such as engineering.

My Project

When we get parts in for our robot build, they are in small plastic bags and we have to search through them all to find the right part and the right size to use and once the bag is opened, we have to make sure the many small parts do not get mixed up with others. The storage drawers and label maker will give us the ability to sort and store our parts to easily find and use the right parts. The other materials are tools needed to put together our robots.
