Prusa Core One Printer for FIRST FRC Robotics

Help me give my students a Prusa Core One printer kit for our robotics and STEM lab classes so we have a high tech, enclosed 3D printer to make our advanced designs and models come to life!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are pushing the boundaries of CAD, 3D modeling, and engineering design every day — and our demand for 3D printing has grown to match. From FIRST robotics and civil engineering to cross-curricular projects, our science and engineering department is being called on more than ever to bring student ideas to life.

As a Title I school, we are committed to ensuring our students have access to the same cutting-edge tools they'll encounter in the workforce, and a Prusa Core One printer kit will be a transformative addition to our makerspace.

Its temperature controlled enclosure, and speed would allow us to iterate designs faster, keep pace with our growing project load, and serve every student and teacher who depends on our lab — this school year and for years to come serving thousands of students over many years.

With support for high-performance, high-temperature engineering-grade materials like Polycarbonate, ABS, Nylon, Polypropylene, ASA, carbon and glass fiber-reinforced, students will gain hands-on experience with the same materials used in professional and industrial settings. This printer gives us more professional outputs.

This directly supports our robotics teams, who need strong, precise, functional parts, as well as our engineering students building structural models that must perform under real conditions. Guiding a student from sketch, to CAD, to a physical part in their hands is one of the most powerful moments in STEM education — your support makes that possible at a higher level than ever before, helping prepare our students for the 4th industrial revolution and beyond.
