Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to provide alternatives to traditional chairs for students to use during small group instruction. Traditional chairs take up space and can be difficult for students to stack. I also would like to provide students with the opportunity to use crayons that match our skin colors and play-doh to help strengthen their muscles for fine motor skills. The book bins would provide me with storage for some read-aloud books that go with our curriculum and the ability to access those books easily without searching through them in large storage tubs.
