This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My first-grade students are vibrant, loving and ready to learn. My students are special because they love to learn and cherish their time in school. The school's demographic is one hundred percent economically disadvantaged. Fifty-two percent of our students are African American, thirty percent Hispanic American, and eighteen percent other.

My students work hard and show pride in their neighborhood, school, and community.

My classroom is full of future presidents, doctors, ninjas, veterinarians, cops, ninja cops and of course, teachers. I hope that you can join us on this journey and help us to achieve these dreams and more.

My Project

My students need copy paper which is an absolute necessity to provide my students with differentiated small group instruction. It will also offer me the opportunity to provide frequent checks for understanding that I can use to create a more data-driven instructional day. This paper will also allow me to administer differentiated remediation based on individual skill need. My students will truly benefit from the paper because it will provide them with a more differentiated instruction that will allow them to concentrate in areas that need improvement for each child.
