Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In response to the current weather condition, this winter essential project, like gloves, chapsticks for dry lips, lotion, and face masks for all students, is essential for their protection and maintaining good health, especially during the ongoing concerns related to viruses and illness. Being cold and hungry is also always an issue when it comes to managing emotions.

I believe that by meeting these basic needs, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment that allows our students to thrive academically and emotionally.

The gloves are provided to promote hygiene practices, while the chapsticks aim to address the common issue of dry lips, especially during colder seasons. Additionally, the lotion and face masks serve as an added layer of protection against various airborne illnesses. Hunger can have a significant impact on a student's ability to concentrate and learn effectively. By providing nutritious snacks, we can help alleviate hunger and ensure that our students have the energy and focus they need to succeed academically.
