This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an eclectic bunch of teenagers eager to capitalize on the opportunities that a great education can provide to them. They span the range of cultures and abilities.

Providing this is solution based and will ensure they succeed.

My Project

Cellphones have become a distraction to the success of our students. I would like to provide the students with a safe place for their valuable phones and an incentive of hassle free charging stations so they can focus on their studies in class.

Studies have shown that students attention spans have been hindered due to the use of cellphones.

Their concerns for the phone's safety during class will be eliminated with this donation. Students will have a safe place for their phone in addition to a place to charge it.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
