Help me give my students multi-cultural books, supplies, and toys to engage in literature, multi-cultural learning and providing a multi-cultural community.

My Project

The multicultural books will be used to teach my kindergartners about different cultures, traditions, and customs within our classroom, school, and community. While also providing a way for students to connect with each other through culture and learning. The books will represent my students in our classroom and they will be able to relate to the representation of the characters in the stories which will increase student engagement, and their knowledge of their heritage and foster a positive self-identity.

The multicultural markers, crayons, pastels, colored pencils, and papers will help students create amazing art projects with self-portraits or drawings of friends and family members, creating self-confidence and having the utensils that match them!

The multicultural food will provide a learning opportunity to see what kinds of foods other cultures eat. The multicultural toys will allow students to have toys that represent and look like them creating an equal experience for all of the students in our classroom.
