This gives students the chance to practice problem-solving, sharing their thoughts and feelings, and listening to the perspectives of others. These discussions provide valuable opportunities for students to build communication and emotional regulation skills.\r\n\r\nSome students have especially benefited from these books. For instance, one student who has struggled with understanding and naming their emotions has shown incredible progress since we started reading books focused on emotional awareness.
