This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will serve to provide healthy snack for teenagers who are experiencing food insecurity. Many of them arrive to school without resources to purchase food, and have difficulty focusing because they are so hungry.

These snacks will be made available in the classroom for all hungry students.

Our school works with many low income students who don't have nutritious food available at home.

Having healthy snacks available for them will allow them to focus on learning rather than worrying about being hungry.
