My Students

I teach in a co-teach setting for Pre-k students. We have the great opportunity to teach students from many diverse backgrounds such as English Language Learners (ELLs), Special Education Students (SPED), and first-time learners.

My students all have different needs and different ways that they learn to accomplish their social, emotional, and academic goals.

My students are very amazing Pre-k students who are experiencing school through new eyes. They're inquisitive, not afraid to make mistakes, and make everything an adventure.

My Project

Every year students create, make, and explore with art materials as we show what we have learned with crayons, markers, play-doh, paper, glue, glitter, yarn, the list goes on and on but they create some amazing things! We like to preserve these creations, especially paper, by laminating them so that they become waterproof and are able to hang proudly in our hallway or be sent home for families to enjoy through the years. We also use laminating on all of our visual cue cards for ALL of all learners but especially for our picture schedules to help establish and maintain routines during the day.
