My Project

My students are from rural Eastern Kentucky. When the coal mines started to close down, our area took a big hit and so did the schools and sports programs. Many of my students are from non-ideal home situations and/or foster care programs.

We as a school with the help of our Head Coach and other coaches are bringing baseball to a athletic key.

We are going to make a safe place for students to be when classroom time is over. The more time they are with us playing baseball is less time they are with bad situations and maybe the one thing the breaks the cycle of drug use, crime, and poverty that these kids see every day. I thank you for considering our kids and school.

My students are from a very rural part of Eastern Kentucky. In our area, the income is very low and the drug abuse is very high. My students need ways to stay at school where they are loved and cared for. Our students need warm proctive pants so we do not have to cancle practice during the cold days of spring. These pants will ensure that our students can safly practice in the cold and keep them at school where they can be cared for.
