I am new to the school this year, it is in a rural area near a larger city. The school is a Title I school. We have minimal resources as our county doesn't receive much money from sales tax (not many places to buy from and the competition from being just outside a much larger county).
In this short time, I have seen that a strength the school has is the support from the community and parents.
In addition to teaching in a high school classroom, I am also the athletic director and varsity football coach. Coaching is something I really enjoy because students are motivated to do well in their academics in order to participate in extracurriculars. I am excited to lead these students and to push them in both their academics as well as sports. My hopes are to open opportunities for students to attend college who may not otherwise be able to go and to give them memories they will cherish for a lifetime.
HCHS football players need shoulder pads. Although I am only asking for 4 in this project, we actually need many more. We are working on fundraisers to earn money to purchase additional ones. The ones we have are old, and we share with the middle school team.
Heavy-hitting, low-profile pads provide the protection our players need, where they need it most.
Skeletal protection pads are placed at key points to protect their chest from big hits. Shock-absorbing tech and floating sternum plate help during the toughest plays.
Thank you for helping support and protect the students at our school while they are playing a game they love!
