This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are going to be very excited to work with the three recently acquired iPads donated to the special education and speech/language departments. Student usage will be heavy and the prized technology will require protection.

My school district is comprised of a rural K-8 rural school a K-5 school located in an urban setting.

The student population is multicultural and economically diverse. Some of my students do not have Internet access. My students are academically challenged, but they constantly inspire me with their endless determination.

My Project

The diverse learners serviced in the special education and speech/language departments require access to a variety of resources to engage their specific learning styles. The recently donated iPads will allow access to apps that specifically target my students' style of learning. The iPads will be used heavily in the special education and speech/language departments at my school districts. Protection against the wear-and-tear of constant usage of our K-8 grade students is crucial and theft protection is an added benefit to ensure the technology remains accessible for present and future students.

We are grateful and fortunate to have three donated iPads.

These iPads need to be protected and placed in the hands of our special education and speech/language students as soon as possible. The iPad protection will ensure the iPads remain in their designated departments for our fragile learners and protect against heavy usage.
