Thanks to your support, there is a projector in the classroom. With this projector, I can now add visual aids in the classroom that I want to project that my students can now see. I have a tv monitor in the classroom but with this projector, I can project multiple things that students can observe like classroom notes, with videos that related to the notes students are creating. A bonus to this, is that I can put the projector to the front of the classroom so students can have a visual and move my tv monitor to the back of the classroom so students in the back have equal view to the visual I want to show them. \r\n\r\nMy classroom is open during lunch and students are able to come in and socialize with fellow peers and have some downtime. They can play games in an environment they feel very comfortable to be in. It has been great to see some students who are quite shy in the classroom to becoming social in my room when they are playing with their \r\nfriends. \r\n\r\nIt has been exciting to have this new addition to the classroom for Bulldog Day, which is a day for students to enjoy some free time with their friends. Because of you, my students now have access to engaging, hands-on materials that make learning both meaningful and exciting. When the supplies arrived, their faces immediately lit up with excitement. They were eager to explore the games, magnetic tiles, Play-Doh, and new whiteboards, and they couldn't wait to start using them during our lessons and center time.\r\nWe have already begun incorporating these materials into our daily learning. The magnetic ten frames and whiteboards are helping students strengthen their number sense and confidently show their thinking during math lessons. The games, such as Connect 4 and Jenga, encourage teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing important academic concepts in a fun way. The magnetic tiles have quickly become a favorite, allowing students to explore creativity, patterns, and early STEM skills through building and collaboration. Even simple materials like the Expo markers have made a big difference by allowing every child to actively participate and stay engaged.\r\nYour kindness has created a more positive, interactive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn each day. These resources will continue to support their growth academically and socially throughout the year. Because of your support, my students are not only learning important skills, but they are also developing a love for learning that will stay with them far beyond our classroom.\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their future. Because of you, my students now have access to resources that have truly transformed our learning environment. When the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was immediate and unforgettable. Students were eager to explore everything, especially the hands-on STEM materials and flexible seating. Seeing their faces light up reminded me just how meaningful your support is, not only for their education, but for their confidence and joy in learning.\r\nWe have been using the whiteboards daily during lessons, and they have made a tremendous difference in student participation. Every child now has the opportunity to solve problems, practice writing, and share their thinking in real time. This has encouraged even my quieter students to engage because they feel more comfortable taking risks and trying new ideas. The bean bag chairs have created a cozy reading space that students look forward to using. Reading time has become more inviting, and I've noticed students staying more focused and excited about books.\r\nThe STEM materials have created some of the most powerful learning moments in our classroom. Students work together to build structures with magnetic tiles, design marble runs, and experiment with chain reactions. They quickly learned that when something doesn't work the first time, they can try again, adjust their plan, and improve their design. These experiences are helping them develop perseverance, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. I have watched students encourage one another, celebrate successes, and problem-solve collaboratively in ways that would not have been possible without these resources.\r\nOne special moment that stood out was when a group of students successfully built a marble run after several attempts. When the marble finally traveled all the way through, they cheered and immediately started talking about how they could make it even better next time. That moment captured exactly what this project has done, it has given students the confidence to try, fail, learn, and grow.\r\nBecause of your support, I have been able to incorporate more hands-on learning opportunities into my teaching, which has increased student engagement and excitement across subjects. Moving forward, I plan to continue integrating STEM challenges, collaborative problem-solving activities, and interactive lessons using these materials. My goal is to help students build not only academic skills, but also confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.\r\nYour kindness has made a lasting impact on my students and our classroom community. We haven't had a chance to start Animal Farm yet (we read Farewell to Manzanar and are currently reading the Diary of Anne Frank). However, we are very excited to read it as the final book they read this year. I've had so many students ask when we're going to start it. The kids are so excited to dive into this book, but I especially am eager for the kids to read it. I think now more than ever, children need to be aware of the importance to think for themselves, to question the things happening around them, to read. My only worry is that some students won't understand why we're reading it, or worse, won't care. But as long as I am able to help at least a few students thinking about these things, it will all be worth it. Thank you so much for your donations. I've never had a community come together like this before. Usually, I pay for the majority of my own projects, waiting for a 2x match. I was fully ready to fund this one by myself too. And then Pam donated. And then Pam's wonderful friends donated. And I felt so overjoyed. Thank you so very much. These books will be read for years by so many students.
