Ms. Frate from Cleveland OH is requesting computers & tablets through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students protective cases for iPads so that we can send these home with students! These iPads will then go to students without technology at home so that they can be more actively engaged!

I am currently working in the Cleveland public school system. Our school district is mailing packets home, weekly, to each student in the district to work at grade level. About 40% of our students in our school are without technology at home. Our school was able to provide about 30% of the students without technology, with a school-owned laptop.
As a school district, we are attempting to connect all of our students with technology so that they can participate with more engaging activities with their teacher, from home.
Teachers at our school are doing regular Zoom class meetings and have students connected to multiple programs to work on the curriculum. It has been unfortunate that not all of our students can take part in these learning experiences because of their lack of resources.
I am extremely fortunate and received four iPads through DonorsChoose this school year. We are looking to be able to give these four iPads out to more students in need. Before these iPads can be issued to the students, we need a protective casing for the iPads to keep them intact so that they can be used for future students, for years to come.
I have four iPads that were generously donated to my class through DonorsChoose. We would now like to send these iPads home with four students who are in serious need of technology. This technology will help the students be more actively engaged with their classmates and teachers from their homes.
We cannot send these iPads home without protective cases.
These protective cases will help the iPads last longer and prevent accidents that can easily happen! Our goal is to be able to keep these iPads for years to come while allowing students to keep them safe in their own homes for the time being.
