My Project

High School students in the Credit Recovery Classroom spend sometimes a few hours to the entire day of class online recovering credits that they need to graduate or complete the year successfully. Sometimes students come from a different school and they are needing more credits. I have tried to create a comfortable learning environment for students to choose if they want to sit at a table/chair or they can also learn by sitting on a beanbag chair. I have noticed that many students will prop their laptop on their knees and hold that position for a long period of time while they are reading or interacting with assignments. To accommodate their learning. I would like to get cushioned lap desks so that students can prop their computer and relax the strength of their arms and a flat desktop to work on their computer. These desks are rated to make their posture more comfortable, and also reduce the pressure on their arms and hands. I have six beanbag stations in my room and six table settings. I have requesting 6 lap desks for the students to use.
