This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a public charter that serves potential first generation college bound students from over 42 different area codes in San Diego. Together, the students come from a large variety of backgrounds, but find a common goal in achieving success in and out of the classroom.

As a school, we work to increase college access for all students regardless of socio-economic status, providing various supports and opportunities for students to engage with content.

Join me in our goal to provide rigorous and relevant curriculum to prepare our students for college success.

My Project

Having colored pencils, markers, and basic classroom supplies , such as rulers, pencils, pens, and erasers will help my students on a daily basis create their best work possible.

Being able to include finishing touches of color and straight diagrams help create a professional feel to student work, that is ready for display in the classroom for all to see.

These supplies will provide ways to create neat, professional work to complement their hard research and ideas. In addition it is important to helping my students feel proud of their accomplishments and wanting to see their work displayed for others.
