As students explore physical principles of science, an interdisciplinary approach is the most valuable. This project allows students to explore robotics, forces, and space, while developing proficiency in computer programming. Students will use the Lego Space Exploration Set to program EV3s to solve challenges related to space exploration. This innovative approach will allow students to problem solve in small groups, and develop collaborative skills. My hope is to let students develop as critical thinkers and engineers in a modern technologically driven society. With these kits, students can create and explore beyond a level that my classroom can currently achieve. As we create models to accomplish specific tasks in space exploration, students will work through an engineering design cycle, create questions, develop experimental designs, and collect data. Please help support our future engineers!
