Promoting Positive Solon Pride

Help me give my students an incentive to demonstrate positive behavior through providing raffle prizes.

My Project

My students are in need of that extra "umph" to promote positive behavior school wide. We are seeing the impacts of the pandemic playing out and could use a revamp of school positive incentives to encourage expected behaviors. Through supporting my project with these items, students will be excited to earn points to buy raffle tickets in a chance to win one of these. The more raffle tickets, the better chance at winning, the more positive behavior we see! Due to lack of bus drivers, our walk-zone for school is a whopping 2.5 miles. Many of our students do not have access to transportation and are walking that 2.5 miles to and from school on the daily. With the Segway Scooter and AirPods being raffle items for out positive behavior system, students will be motivated to earn points make their commute to and from school more enjoyable.

With these items, we are hoping to see a positive shift in the mindset and behaviors of our students towards school and future paths.
