Promoting Learning Through Painting!

Help me give my students various painting supplies and activities so they can meet their goals in a fun and exciting way!

My Project

I am an occupational therapist and I work with my students on many skills, including improving their fine motor skills, visual-motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and sensory processing skills. These skills are the building blocks for being a successful learner.

Children learn best through play, and so I try to make our therapy sessions fun and exciting by engaging in various hands-activities.

My students love craft activities and always ask if we can paint! Therefore, I am requesting various paint sticks and paint by number activities! By donating these supplies, you will enable me to be able to perform various fun and hands-on activities with my students during our occupational therapy sessions, so they can have fun and work on improving their skills at the same time!

Many of my students come from low-income homes and don't have these opportunities at home. The painting supplies that I have chosen will allow my students to be able to learn and improve various skills, in a fun and exciting way! It will also allow them to decorate their homes with the crafts they made in school!
