This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My MLL students know that it is important to learn the English language. Those who are new in the country realize that they are behind in all areas, and gladly receive any help through resources that not only provide different ways of learning, but also give a variety of ways of learning.

Having a projector will facilitate the entire group in multiple learning activities: read along, phonics classes, projecting visual aids needed to facilitate vocabulary, spelling, short clips, and displaying student PowerPoint presentations.

All of these will help students to learn the English Language faster.

As a teacher, I would like to engage my students by giving them auditory and visual material. I would love to see them successfully participating in classes, school activities and feeling that they fully belong to the rest of the school community. Even though it takes time to fully engage in a new language, through study and proper resources, they will have the starting of a brilliant future.
