Projecting Success through Technology and Language!

My Students
Hello! I teach six levels of Spanish, encompassing around 250 students, many of whom are part of the International Baccalaureate program here at Thomas Jefferson High School. I work with a large variety of students from city/urban areas inside of Richmond, Virginia, spanning from 9th to 12th grade.
My students include standard, highly motivated, and special education kids that are mostly underprivileged and minorities, such as African-Americans, Middle Easterners, and Hispanics.
They are enthusiastic about learning, but do not have access to all of the tools and resources to be as successful as they could be. Please help me give them the education they deserve!
My Project
The projector I am requesting will positively impact my students' education in many ways. With this projector, I will be able to teach using presentation software, which will be very helpful for visual learners. It will also be incredibly useful for showing videos to my students as I am teaching about cultural differences in different Spanish speaking countries. Lastly, I will be able to create review games such as Kahoot or Jeopardy to check for student understanding at the end of a unit and project it onto the board.
With the amazing technology available today, I want to be able to provide my students with even a fraction of the advantages that technology, specifically this projector, can contribute to learning.
My first step to improving education for my students is obtaining technology that will aid them in their success in the classroom. My students are very deserving of this projector and I need your help to give it to them!
