My students need a projector to take notes and integrate multimedia resources into their learning. We also need extra bulbs.

My Students
Imagine being in class where you can't see or hear what your teacher is trying to teach you. This should not be the case in any school, let alone the one where my students attend.
Our school is going through a massive transition: increasing our enrollment from 600 to 725 has put a huge strain on our resources.
My class sizes have ballooned but we have not received much extra funding for tech use in our rooms. I need an upgrade so my students can see what I am teaching.
My students are mostly from low-income neighborhoods in an urban area of Pennsylvania. While some have technology access at home a lot of them struggle to simply check their email outside the school building. I want to train them for the needs of the future and the presentation tools of teachers are an important part of that.
My Project
This projector and set of backup bulbs will allow my students to better see what we are learning from far distances and ensure that if something goes wrong, we will be able to replace the bulb. Since our district has gone through over $700 million of budget cuts, the "unnecessary items" like technology have been relegated to the side. In order to educate a 21st century student we need 21st century tools and these are it. Please help me make sure I have the resources I need.
I want our students to be prepared to make presentations and use digital storytelling tools on a regular basis in the classroom.
The only way I can do that is with proper projection and backups in case my already outdated equipment breaks in the future. Help me maintain a higher standard in our classrooms.
