Have you ever sat in the back of a classroom while the teacher is showing how a project works. Now imagine you can't see the project. By using a document camera to project the examples all of my students will be able to see.
My students are wonderful, engaging and full of energy.
When working with materials it is hard for them to all see and be involved. We attend a charter school so most of the funding goes to basic needs in education not wants. It is only with community help that these extras can supplement and enhance our learning.
My Project
Donors Choose is a great way to help support my kids grow and engage in lessons. Remember the over head projectors of our time and how much our teachers used them. Well today's projectors are document cameras and they can be used to enhance any lesson into an engaging experience. I am so excited that Donors Choose allows me to have the tools to get funding for those needs.
I am requesting three items to help me engage my students. The first is a document camera to project items onto the smart board. The second is a digital microscope to enhance items for all the kids to see. The last item is an USB plug to help coordinate all of materials.
It is important to kids to be able to engage in learning everyday.
By utilizing a document camera my kids can have concrete learning examples. The Document camera can be used in every lesson everyday. You can display students work to working with objects. I am so grateful these tools are available to help meet each learning style.
