I teach some incredibly intelligent students who are dying for more technology to enhance our science lessons. I teach Eighth Grade science (Pre-chemistry, Earth Science, Biological Psychology) in a low income, under-privileged school. The school works hard with what it has to deliver the best education it can for our students.

My students are in a very low-income, under-privileged community that is severely lacking in resources to keep up with the fast-paced, technology driven classroom environments or their more privileged peers. They work just as hard, have the drive to succeed, but don't have the access to what they need to stay up with the rest of the world. To say the least, they are learning in an out of date district.

In order to help them better prepare for the future, as well as many students for years to come, a LCD Projector to be used everyday in class will greatly help them. This will provide abilities to create and present professional projects, show educational movies and clips, and use the projector with a Smart Board. This will enhance student engagement and involvement in the lesson. I'm really excited to show my students all the advantages that a LCD Projector can bring to our classroom!

With your support, my students will have more resources to learn science in a more advanced way that is more closely attuned with the norm of society's expectations of our children today. They struggle to succeed as it is in the environments they live in. With your donation, we can make it more fun, engaging, and easier for them to learn science and light a fire under them to pursue with diligence a better education in high school and college.
