My Students

I am the literacy coach in Pennsylvania. Our school is filled with knowledge that is continuously celebrated within classrooms and throughout the school. The teachers are passionate about their role in being role models for our students and you can see the hard work and dedication when you walk into each classroom. The students here are willing to push their thinking to the next level and work collaboratively with their peers to be successful. You can feel the love in our school as soon as you walk through the front doors.

My Project

In our classrooms, we are teaching reading and writing workshop daily. However, we are struggling to be able to share visuals with our students up close because we do not have an ELMO projector. With an elmo projector, we would be able to model the writing process right in front of our students eyes and add to the process each day. In addition, we can place our picture or chapter books under the elmo and read as a whole class or zoom in on pictures that can lead to discussion. This product will expand our students' knowledge in a visual way.
