My Students

My students are bright ten year-olds, full of energy and vitality. Our school and neighborhoods are located in a rural town of eastern Utah. My students love reading to escape our desert town to meet fictional friends in far-off places. They are inspired to do their best and treat each other better through the books they read.

Our school is a Title 1 school where most of the students receive free lunch.

While times are tough for them financially, learning, playing, and working hard is what we do every day to overcome the obstacles in their lives. They know that education empowers them to change their course!

My Project

My class participates in several fairs during the year. At these fairs, they present a variety of projects which include photos, reports, and graphs. Because my students come from a low economic society, most do not have printers at home to print from. This makes it really hard to complete their projects. By having a printer in our room, we will be able to print and complete projects with tremendous ease. I’ve chosen a printer that has the Instant Ink low-cost plan. If you could help me pay for the printer, I’ll gladly pay for the monthly ink plan. By funding this project, you will be helping my students be successful in creating their projects. Thank you!
