Project Picnic Table

Help me give my students a picnic table to use for an outdoor classroom.

My Project

I teach kindergarten students at a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.

They want to be in school because they want to learn!

My project is for a new picnic table for our kindergarten playground. Our old picnic table is wooden and full of splinters. It is ready for the trash! With this picnic table we will take the classroom learning environment outside! Kids are tired of being stuck in the classrooms looking at the same four walls. Sometimes lessons are very interesting kids just need a change of scenery!

The new picnic table is just perfect for science lessons, outdoor reading and even snack time. Would you consider helping out a bunch of well deserving kindergarteners out?
