My Students

"I didn't know I had the light in me, until you showed me it was there." As a school counselor, I feel it is my duty to help students find their light! Throughout the day, I am constantly teaching lessons and I don't have a projector to teach students about life skills.

I work at a school with 820 students.

These students are extremely excited to learn about life and the skills necessary to become successful members of school and in the real world. From teaching in classrooms, to teaching lessons at lunch time, to facilitating an after school program, I am constantly on the run, while trying to help as many students as possible. Having a "classroom of 820 students" is a huge task, but I feel I can connect to each and every student!

My Project

Being on the run throughout the day, I need to have the necessary supplies to teach at each location. Currently, I do not have a projector, which makes it challenging to teach all of the necessary material. The students would love receiving this projector because of the clear, crisp, visually stimulating presentations. Also, they would like learning through video clips, pictures on the computer, and having more information accessible to them. This projector would benefit a vast number of students!

You can be sure this projector will be put to good use, projecting light into the lives of many students!

This projector will facilitate learning for over 800 students and make a school counselor's life much easier! There is a quote that states, "When you know better, you do better." These students will receive the life skills to "do better in life" with this projector.
