Project Graduation!

Help me give my students a graduation gift bag that they will remember for a lifetime. Each year we create a DVD of everything that happened in 5th grade.

My Students

Our 5th grade students like to strive for the best, and also want to be great learners. Each morning they bring a smile to our face and are the reason for why we love teaching. In our 5th grade, the students enjoy actively participating in many activities and love to learn new concepts in a wide variety of ways. When looking at our students and school, we have a multi-ethnic population, this is due to our school being right next to a college. Being so close also brings a wide variety of family backgrounds and learning styles that we see each day. 45 percent of our students qualify for free and reduced price lunch.

Our 5th graders are very hard working!

This year we have a great group of kids who want to try their best and are independently motivated in a lot that they do. Many of them participate in extra curricular activities outside of school also.

My Project

Each year we take the time to celebrate our 5th graders by giving them a moving on ceremony. We create a highlight film showing all the cool and exciting things we did in 5th grade. We also like to present them in a nice gift bag to give out on their special night.

5th grade is a special year in elementary.

Throughout the year, they experience their last of class parities, elementary themed activities, etc. This is a special year to look back on all the exciting times they had in elementary school, and to also look forward to what is next in their education. By giving them this special gift, it will wrap up a wonderful elementary experience for them.
