Project Flat Screen: Replace Outdated Monitors in Lab
My students need 8 flat screen monitors in the computer lab to improve visibility of computers, providing more space to work on research projects and intervention programs.
Please help us move forward to the 21st century with flat screen monitors! Our dinosaur monitors take up a lot of space and are more than ten years old! We need new, flat-screen monitors to provide our students with a clear view to complete research projects and intervention activities.
Our students attend a public, Title I school in California where over 70% receive free or reduced lunch.
Our students are eager to learn new things. They love the opportunity to go to the computer lab for tutoring, keyboarding, projects, and research. Many times the computer is just the incentive they need to persevere when work is challenging or more information is needed. They would love to work in an environment with updated monitors to provide space and a clearer view.
My Project
Our students love to go to the computer lab to practice skills in major subject areas as well as research for special projects. We have been working on improving our technology in the last seven years, slowly updating with computer purchases and donations. The students would love to be able to go to the computer lab with flat screen monitors to provide a clear view and more space to work!
Our students are moving into the 21st century, striving to be ready for college and careers.
Technology is a big part of this readiness, as we integrate computer projects, collaboration, and testing into our curriculum. We need updated monitors to more effectively meet the challenge of our times and keep up with progress!
