Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My administration has taken a large chance on building an animation & digital class, with the ever-growing interest in Video Game Design, VFX, Cinematography, Animation, Illustration, & emerging new media. I'd like to give my digital class the ability to bring their polygon modeling to life, training them in industry standard Autodesk software like 3dsMax, Maya, & Inventor.

In order to support my students' learning to wield cutting-edge technology & advance classroom learning, it would be helpful for students to see their digital creations come to life & have a tangible product (very much like in traditional art courses).

Having the ability to 3D print in-house would offer my students the ability to compete in art competitions, where the digital arts are so new & revolutionary most schools have not been able to build a program (with the cost of technology). This is our chance to have one of the only full digital art programs, outside of Columbia College in Chicago, IL.

Won't you help my students' have the chance to take their art to a higher level, in careers such an architecture/engineering, animation/illustration, VFX/cinematography, automative/Interior building design, VR/3D imaging, & more? A gift such as this can be life changing, when you're developing your skills as a student; it can be the difference between earning that dream career & securing a job you love, vs. letting those talents go to waste. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated, as I help to create tomorrow's leaders, entrepreneurs, CEOs, inventors, artists, illustrators, and video editors.
