This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We will use the LEGO Spike Essentials to teach coding and programming basics to the kids. Through this experience students will successfully learn how to make their creations move.
Kids will work with partners to learning the CORE Values of FIRST and use their imagination to successfully build, design, and program their engineering device to do various functions.
The kids will work for four weeks learning and teaching their fellow Teammembers how to program and code the Spike Essentials using the 36+ programs provided by LEGO Education. Through the six core values of FIRST the kids will learn how to work together using teamwork, inclusion, innovation, impact, discovery, and fun.
