This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Public schools are the even playing field for all kids. Students are given the materials and tools they need to be successful in the classroom no matter their home setting or background. When it comes to art in middle school, it helps a student's confidence if they have the right tools to explore and develop their skills. In my classroom I strive to give my kids all the tools they need to discover the amazing artist that they are.
Alcohol markers are top quality art supplies, and they are invaluable to making a dynamic piece.
These sets come with multiple shades of different colors to help with value, layering and blending colors. They are also dual tipped so that they can be used to do fine details or color large spaces. Typically, one set costs a large amount of money and the majority of my students would never have access to them. Because of your donations I will be able to give my budding artist a chance to use these high-quality materials.
