As some books were filled or new students would come later in the year, I was able to give them a sketchbook so the flow of creativity never stopped in my classroom.\r\n\r\nWithout a sketchbook, a student can not function in my art class. It is the most important tool they will bring to my class. When the boxes arrived my students had no idea what was in store for them. Upon opening them their eyes widen at the selection in each set. 120 Markers is no small matter! Add to it the brush tips on one side for details and the Chisel tip for big spots on the other and these markers are a young artists dream.\r\n\r\nThey were used throughout the semester but the highlight had to be their final projects. Students were tasked with creating an original piece of art based on the themes \"emotions\" or \"family\". They could interpret these themes any way they liked and the results were spectacular.
