This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines!" Let's give our students the tools, strategies and support needed to build a strong healthy foundation for being successful individuals. It starts with empowering them with strong social emotional skills. The 200-Hour teacher training for Mindfulness, SEL and Yoga will help grow my toolbox of strategies, activities, and lessons to help our prek-5th grade students as well as our staff (I will be able to give staff professional development in SEL) build their social emotional learning one step at a time, to become healthy balanced successful individuals. The skills and perspective gained through this process can be life changing in such a positive way! Your financial support can have a lasting ripple effect throughout our Freedman School and Community. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you in advance for your time and any financial contributions you are able to give.
