Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in an economically challenged school district, my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Ninety-seven percent of our students are of low social economic status. Despite the challenges they face on an everyday basis, I am looking to provide my students with a meaningful, organized and clean learning environment so that they feel comfortable, loved and cared for. My students would benefit from learning in an environment that allows them to always be prepared to learn and complete their assignments, as well as provide them the opportunities to learn using different materials and technology.

My Project

I would like to encourage my students to work hard, be good team members and also behave. Having close to thirty students in a class makes it a little harder to manage. I would like to bring in this reward crane to my classroom as a way to encourage my students to work hard at everything they do, earn good grades and also to behave. This toy crane and assorted toys will be used by students who earn points for behaving like they should in the classroom. For every point earned, students will have a chance at winning a prizes.

I would love to reward excellent work and behavior with the use of a toy crane with prizes.
