This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I got some calm strips that were funded through another DonorsChoose project and my kids loved them! We just had our ELA MCAS and the kids thought they were really helpful to relieve stress and focus on test-taking skills. The calm strips ran out pretty fast so I want to refill my prize box with some more fidgets to help my kids focus. They just completed a debate project that required them to talk in front of a crowd for the first time and a refilled prize box is an excellent reward for them!
