My Students

The children I teach come from a variety of backgrounds. Our class is made up of students with all different personalities and abilities. Many of the students in our classroom are English language learners, have special needs, or come from challenging backgrounds.

My school is a Title I school.

Therefore, the budget for families is often very tight. I like to support my students' needs as much as possible, however I am finding it harder and harder to keep up with all of the different needs.

This is where DonorsChoose.org and donors like yourself come to the rescue.

My Project

In fourth grade, we have flexible seating. This is great for student choice in learning, not so great when it comes to assessment and independent work time.

My students need privacy partitions that can work on a desk, table or even the floor, to create an instant, distraction-free environment for tests, quizzes and more!

These privacy partitions will also come in handy for helping students who need help in regulation. I encourage my students to check on their regulation needs regularly and do what they need to calm their body and their mind.
