My Project

My students are curious, creative thinkers who thrive when they can see their ideas come to life. As a high school science and computer science teacher in a Title 1 school, I strive to provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences that prepare my students for the future.

This project will bring a 3D printer into our classroom, allowing students to design, create, and problem-solve using cutting-edge technology.

With this tool, students will move beyond textbooks and engage in authentic STEM practices—engineering solutions, testing prototypes, and refining their designs.

By integrating 3D printing into chemistry and computer science lessons, students will explore concepts like molecular modeling, engineering design, and computational thinking in meaningful and engaging ways.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
